Cuktech’s 10,000mAh magnetic power bank offers the best of both worlds: wireless charging and fast wired charging. Its lightweight design makes it easy to carry — and its tiny price tag makes it a bargain and a half.

This little wonder even packs a built-in USB-C cable, making it the only power bank you need to toss in your bag.

As you’ll see from our review, if you’re looking for a convenient and reliable iPhone charger at an affordable price, Cuktech’s 10,000mAh magnetic power bank is worth buying.

There’s no dearth of high-capacity power banks for iPhones. (Read our guide: Top 10 power banks for Apple users in 2025). Some even push out 140W, making them powerful enough to fast-charge a MacBook.

But for daily use, convenience beats bulk every time. What you really want is a compact charger that can top up your iPhone and other small accessories at least once.

That’s exactly the slot the Cuktech 10,000mAh aims to fill. It supports magnetic wireless charging, features a built-in USB-C cable, and supports 20W wired fast charging. That makes it a versatile everyday carry. But why should you buy this power bank over other options that support Qi2.2 and even faster wired charging speeds?

High-speed wireless charging comes at a cost

The iPhone 16 and iPhone 17 lineups support Qi 2.2, which enables up to 25W wireless charging speeds. There are plenty of MagSafe and Qi2.2-compatible chargers that can wirelessly fast charge those iPhones at full speed. And recently, Qi 2.2 power banks have begun hitting the market as well, promising 25W wireless charging on the go.

However, there’s a big problem with them. Wireless charging generates heat, and it’s inherently not as efficient as wired charging. I’ve used several Qi 2.2 power banks to wirelessly fast charge an iPhone 16 Pro Max. Almost all of them dropped the speeds after a few minutes to manage the heat.

It’s not just about temps, either. With a 10,000mAh Qi 2.2 power bank, you’d expect to charge an iPhone 16 Pro Max from zero to 100% wirelessly at least twice. After all, the phone only packs a 4,685mAh battery.

However, power banks advertise their capacity at 3.7V, while most phones need anywhere between 5V and 9V for charging. That leads to a noticeable drop in capacity. So, a 10,000mAh power bank can only charge a phone with a 5,000mAh battery 1.5 times before it is fully drained. And that’s over a wired connection.

Wireless charging is significantly less efficient than wired charging. And the more power you try to push, the more energy gets wasted. So, if a 10,000mAh power bank can charge your iPhone about 1.5 times over USB-C, wireless charging will barely provide a full top-up.

That’s why it’s best to buy a power bank with solid wired fast-charging speeds. Treat wireless charging as a convenience, not the main event.

The Cuktech 10,000mAh magnetic power bank nails the basics. It’s built from durable plastic and keeps branding to a minimum. The magnetic charging side uses a darker finish and clear markings, making it easy to identify at a glance.

It’s light enough that when I lift any phone with the power bank magnetically attached, the charger stays securely in place and doesn’t fall off.

The built-in USB-C cable’s braided finish gives me confidence that it will last a few years of rough use. And while the cable is integrated into the power bank, it doesn’t tuck inside the body. Instead, there’s a dummy USB-C port where you plug the loose end to keep it secured.

Note that you cannot use this USB-C port to charge the power bank. Its sole purpose is to hold the integrated cable.

Right next to it is a fully functional USB-C port. That’s the one you must use to recharge the power bank. You can also plug in another USB-C cable to charge a second device at the same time.

Two simple LED indicators

Two LED indicators on the left edge of the power bank show the wireless charging status and remaining battery. Unlike some other power banks, you don’t get a flashy LCD screen for battery percentage or power output.

Instead, Cuktech keeps things simple. A flashing orange LED indicates the power bank has less than 30% charge left. A yellow flash indicates a remaining charge between 30% and 60%, while a green flash means between 60% and 99% power. If the power bank is at full capacity, the LED will shine a constant green.

There’s a button next to the integrated USB-C cable. Pressing it lights up the LED indicators, so you can get an idea about the remaining battery percentage.

Unfortunately, it’s not possible to top up the power bank using the built-in USB-C cable.

When using magnetic wireless charging, the Cuktech 10,000mAh power bank tops out at 7.5W speeds. That’s considerably slower than other power banks. However, there’s a positive side to this. In my research for this review, the phones I tested (including iPhone 12, Samsung Galaxy S25 and iPhone 16 Pro Max) did not get as hot as with other portable chargers.

I found the magnetic wireless charging great for top-ups when I did not want the phone tied to a wire.

Over USB-C — whether using the integrated cable or a separate cable with the second USB-C port — the power bank can push 20W of power. That’s enough to top up recent iPhones to 50% from an empty battery in about 30 minutes.

In my testing, the Cuktech 10,000mAh power bank reliably charged an iPhone 15 Pro Max to 100% over USB-C with enough power left in the bank for another 30% top-up later.

It’s also possible to use wired and wireless charging together. However, the total power output drops to 15W. So, it’s better to charge one device at a time. Even when using both USB-C ports together, the power bank restricts the output to 15W.

You can use the built-in USB-C port to charge the power bank. It pulls 20W of power, and in my testing, a full charge took almost 2.5 hours.

Specifications

The Cuktech 10,000mAh 2-in-1 magnetic power bank comes with a surprisingly solid spec sheet:

  • 10,000mAh capacity
  • Maximum output: 20W wired, 7.5W wireless
  • Ports: 2x USB-C, one wireless charging
  • Fast charging: 20W input and output
  • Recharge time: Approx 160 mins

Bottom line: Is the Cuktech 10,000mAh magnetic power bank worth it?

Most Qi 2.2 power banks easily cross the $50 mark, and even the budget-friendly models with standard 15W wireless charging tend to hover in the $30 to $40 range.

That’s why Cuktech’s magnetic power bank feels like such a steal. Despite offering reliable wireless charging, solid build quality and a practical design, it comes in at just $19.99 before discounts. That’s far better value than anything else you’ll get in this price bracket.

If you want a no-fuss compact power bank for everyday use, Cuktech’s offering is a great buy. The integrated USB-C cable even ensures you don’t need to worry about carrying a spare USB-C cable.
