The just-launched Zagg Slim Book mini acts as a protective case for the latest iPad mini, but that’s only the start. It also adds a detachable keyboard that makes the tablet ready for serious productivity.
“With the Slim Book mini, we’ve taken the performance and typing experience people expect from a full-size laptop and packed it into a sleek, portable keyboard built specifically for the iPad mini,” said Brad Bell, SVP of global marketing for Zagg.
Zagg Slim Book mini gives iPad mini a productivity upgrade
As the smallest of Apple’s tablets, the iPad mini might not be the first that some people think to upgrade into a notebook with a keyboard case. But don’t overlook the portability advantages a computer with an 8.3-inch screen.
For those unaware, keyboard cases like the Zagg Slim Book mini transform a tablet into a more versatile device for work, study or travel. By adding a physical keyboard, they provide faster and more accurate typing compared to on-screen keyboards, while also freeing up screen space for better visibility.
It uses a clamshell design so the screen viewing angle can be adjusted across a wide arc. The tablet can even flip around so the keyboard acts as a stand when watching video or playing games.
For times when typing really isn’t on the agenda, the Bluetooth keyboard can be detached. And Zagg’s latest is always a protective case, offering corner and back protection to safeguard the iPad mini against bumps, scratches and everyday wear.
