The U.S. presidential election left people around the world anxious about the future, but Apple CEO Tim Cook rallied employees yesterday saying we all have to keep moving forward.
In an email to employees, Cook told employees that “Apple’s North Star hasn’t changed.” The Apple CEO invoked the late Martin Luther King Jr. in his note, saying, “We only do great work and improve the world by moving forward.”

I’ve heard from many of you today about the presidential election. In a political contest where the candidates were so different and each received a similar number of popular votes, it’s inevitable that the aftermath leaves many of you with strong feelings.[contextly_auto_sidebar]
We have a very diverse team of employees, including supporters of each of the candidates. Regardless of which candidate each of us supported as individuals, the only way to move forward is to move forward together. I recall something Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. said 50 years ago: “If you can’t fly, then run. If you can’t run, then walk. If you can’t walk, then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.” This advice is timeless, and a reminder that we only do great work and improve the world by moving forward.
While there is discussion today about uncertainties ahead, you can be confident that Apple’s North Star hasn’t changed. Our products connect people everywhere, and they provide the tools for our customers to do great things to improve their lives and the world at large. Our company is open to all, and we celebrate the diversity of our team here in the United States and around the world — regardless of what they look like, where they come from, how they worship or who they love.
I’ve always looked at Apple as one big family and I encourage you to reach out to your co-workers if they are feeling anxious.

Maybe Tim should focus on the business and tell his employees to do their jobs or get fired. I put up with eight years of the worst President in history that BO stench in Washington married to a women that said she had never been a proud American. The Liberals also seem to forget that Bill Clinton had several extra martial affairs and was disbarred for lying.

The National Debt was increased more than the 44 previous presidents combined. The economy in 8 years despite this massive increase has grown on 2% the worst since the great depression. The Fed interest rates are still .25% again historically low after 7 years at 0% and again just 2% growth. Greg did you not take economics or do you just not read.
Funny. I get paid good money to stare at numbers. The debit ballooned when we had the recession. The R controlled congress has only allowed one stimulus bill while blocking every other effort to get more money into the hands of consumers. Capital is already cheap and flooding the market with more will not help. Uncertainty has kept business from expanding while the uneducated like you make monkey jokes.

Congress is composed of the house and senate another class you must have missed along with economics. Here are the facts under Obama the 110-111 congress (Jan-04,2007 -Dec-22,2010), both the house and the senate had a majority of Democrats. Barack Obama had a Democratic congress for the first year and a half of his presidency (Jan 2009 to Nov 2010), that changed in the 2010 midterm elections. Ever since Jan-05, 2011, the 112th congress was divided:it had a majority of Democrats in the Senate and a Republican majority in the House.
