first, yeah I have an adblocker. Deal with it.
2nd, holy crap those gifts are pricey as hell.
They will “deal with it” by having more sponsored articles and lose revenue from ads, possibly ending up with laying off writers and we end up with a less informative site. Ads fuel sites like these – whitelisting the sites that you like is an easy way to support them and ensure that they stay around.
In theory I agree with you. However I positively hate the attitude of some of these sites that their ads are entitled to my eyeballs.
If they can police their ads a bit better so I do not have poorly written Javascript crashing my browser, I may reconsider.
