We got a lot of great feedback from last week’s minimal iPhone 6 case roundup. Many of you suggested other cases to check out, and we got so many good recommendations that we decided to share them with everyone.
Not all of these cases are necessarily super slim and minimal, but they’re worth checking out if you’re in the market for something stylish and functional to cradle your precious iPhone 6 or 6 Plus.
Spigen Thin Fit

Spigen was the brand most suggested by readers, and the Thin Fit case seems to be a popular choice. It comes in Smooth Black, Crystal Clear, Mint, and Shimmery White.
The case’s non-slip matte surface is great for creating a nice grip around the device, and its polycarbonate frame covers the iPhone’s edges while leaving ports and buttons accessible.
Compatible with: iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus
Price: $14.99

Spigen Neo Hybrid

While certainly less minimal than the Thin Fit, Spigen’s Neo Hybrid case was another popular choice among readers.
Made from UV-coated hard polycarbonate and a high-polymer-coated soft TPU cover, the Neo Hybrid is designed to look stylish and absorb shock from accidental drops.
The web-patterened back is one color, while the metallized bumper can be customized with seven colors, including a classy gold finish. Ports are still accessible, although smaller openings will probably make some accessories incompatible.
Compatible with: iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus
Price: $34.99
Buy from: Spigen
Verus Crystal Mixx case

This clear hard shell is deceiving at first glance due to its extremely low profile, and that’s just what certain iPhone users want.
“I have been using the Verus clear case,” said reader Sheila Etheridge, who loves it because “it makes the phone almost sparkle.”
“It is a slick plastic and has a rubbery feel bumper. Slips into the pocket of my pants easy, but grips great.”
Compatible with: iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus
Price: $13.19 for iPhone 6, $16.99 for 6 Plus
Buy from: Amazon: iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus
Elago S6 Slimfit 2

Elago makes some nice looking cases, and the Slimfit was a favorite among readers. Version 2 for this year’s iPhones has been made more durable and flexible, but we’re mostly a fan of the colors. There are nearly a dozen to choose from, and each looks really tasteful.
The case is designed to protect from low-impact drops, and it lifts slightly around the bezel to keep the screen elevated when set on a flat surface.
Elago also makes a two-tone version that allows for more color combinations.
Compatible with: iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus
Price: $24.99 for iPhone 6, $25.99 for 6 Plus (plus $3.99 shipping)
Buy from: Amazon: iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus
Bella Fino by Pad&Quill

It wouldn’t be a case roundup without mentioning Pad&Quill, a small accessory and case maker that specializes in high quality leathers and woods. Ron Burgundy approves.
While certainly not low-profile, Pad&Quill is beloved by many of you for good reason. It makes a few iPhone 6 cases, but our favorite is the Bella Fino wallet case. Made from American grain leather, the foldable design has room for several cards, ID, and some cash.
Compatible with: iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus
Price: $59.99 for iPhone 6, $74.99 for 6 Plus (plus shipping)
Buy from: Pad&Quill
Mountable Rockform case

If you’re looking for a mountable iPhone case, Rockform’s is worth considering.
“I am a big fan of the Rokform cases,” said reader Rob Smith. “They have a clear iPhone 6 case that is really slim but has grip, protection and integrated mounting for cars, bicycles, etc. I use the aluminum iPhone 6 case and like that they ship free anywhere in the U.S.”
While the case design is probably a little too much for most people, those that want their iPhone to be easily mountable anywhere will be pleased. The snap-in magnetic back pairs with any of Rockform’s easy-stick magnetic mounts.
We’re going with the aluminum version as our pick, but a cheaper clear model is available if you want to save a few bucks.
Compatible with: iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus
Price: $99 for iPhone 6, $109 for 6 Plus

The Solo Wallet by Hex

If you weren’t feeling Mujjo’s minimal wallet case in the last roundup, the Solo Wallet by Hex might be up your alley.
Made from black woven leather, this case looks pretty normal until you see the two card slots on the back. Great for carrying an ID and credit card. Comes in a rustic brown, black, and camo finish.
Compatible with: iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus
Price: $39.95 for iPhone 6, $49.95 for 6 Plus
Buy from: Hex: iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus
Otterbox Symmetry case

Everyone knows Otterbox for its big, bulky cases. The new Symmetry case is the slimmest design Otterbox has ever made, and it shows.
It’s not as sturdy as some of Otterbox’s other cases, but its dual-material construction still wraps tightly around the iPhone to keep everything protected.
Compatible with: iPhone 6
Price: $39.95 for iPhone 6, $49.95 for 6 Plus

What is the case in the picture at the top of the article? I didn’t recognize it in either article. looks gorgeous!

The one in the pic has 3 slots but the link below case has only 2, is it a different one? NM saw the post about it being for the 6+
Eric, its the Solo Wallet by Hex from above, but for the iphone 6 plus (gets an extra card slot) in natural brown
I probably bought 6 “cheaper” cases to avoid buying the $45 Apple leather case, but I finally bought that and love it. I probably would have stayed with the Spigen mentioned above if the top of the phone was covered like the Apple case.
I love my Hex Case for the iPhone 6 – no more wallet – holds my ID and 3 cards
Nice feature on the Rokform Aluminum iPhone 6 Case. Saw it on #Bendgate as the solution to Bendgate by @iPhone_News on twitter. If you are concerned with bending your iPhone 6 or 6 Plus then the Rokform case is most definitely the case to get. http://www.rokform.com/iphone-6-cases 100% the most protective iPhone case on the market hands down.
I use the Distil Union case, which is a wallet that only covers the back of the iPhone. The cases above are too bulky.
It may not be minimal or stylish enough for this roundup, but I’m a BIG fan of my Speck Candyshell Grip case — in all-black it’s subtle enough, but those rubbery ridges keep it from sliding out of my hand but don’t prevent easy pocket insertion/removal. At $30ish, it was pricy, but every other case I fondled (I loathe BestBuy, but do love that they you open any box) was waaay too slick.
oh, and it’s highly rated for its drop-test-worthiness, though I’ve not tested that, yet.
Are any of these compatible with a 5S? If not, maybe you could do a piece on cases for the 5S. This would be great for your poorer country cousins, like me, who can only afford a 5S. Thank you very much for considering this.

Poor Country Mouse :)
Check out http://www.vajacases.com they are nice leather, and can be made in colour combinations of your choice.
QuadLock cases are also worth mentioning, especially if you’re a biker. http://www.quadlockcase.com/products/iphone-6-case-composite-protection
