The innovative new Soundcore AeroFit 2 Pro earbuds mark a significant advancement in open-ear audio technology, the company said at CES 2026 Tuesday. The earbuds bridge the gap between situational awareness and immersive listening by offering both open-ear comfort and active noise cancellation in a single device — a first in the industry.

You can physically adjust the buds to be in the ear canal or just outside it. The buds sense the settings and adjust output accordingly.

AeroFit 2 Pro builds on Soundcore’s previous AeroFit designs with an enhanced adjustable ear-hook system that now includes an additional level of adjustment. This engineering refinement allows the earbuds to create a better seal when needed. That enables active noise cancellation (ANC) while maintaining the open-ear form factor that runners and outdoor enthusiasts prefer for safety.

The earbuds’ ANC technology continuously monitors ambient sound 380,000 times per second, dynamically adjusting noise cancellation levels in real time.

Custom diaphragms for better highs and lows

Beyond the dual-mode functionality, AeroFit Pro 2 features custom diaphragms. They’re designed to deliver deeper bass response and clearer high frequencies compared to earlier models. This represents a meaningful upgrade for Apple users who prioritize audio quality but want an alternative to Apple’s AirPods for activities where environmental awareness matters.

The earbuds are available at soundcore.com for $179.99. That positions them competitively against Apple’s AirPods lineup while offering unique functionality that Apple’s earbuds don’t provide.

The earbuds employ a triple noise reduction system combining active noise cancellation, passive isolation, and adaptive snore-masking technology that adjusts across multiple frequency ranges.
