Aaron Sorkin’s ill-fated Steve Jobs script is starting to actually become a reality, even after pretty much everything about the project was unearthed by the hacking of Sony Pictures.
After nailing down Michael Fassbender as Jobs and Seth Rogan to play Steve Wozniak, the film’s cast of supporting characters is starting to fill out.
Deadline reports that Michael Stuhlbarg is slated to play Andy Hertzfeld, an early Apple employee who designed the original Macintosh operating system. A lesser known actor, Stuhlbarg is mostly known for roles in Boardwalk Empire and A Serious Man.
There’s still more casting to be done before Sorkin’s script can be shot in the spring. Jeff Daniels has been rumored to play former Apple CEO John Sculley, and Natalie Portman reportedly considered the leading female role but ended up passing on it.
