The most-recent previous Peanuts musical, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, aired on TV in 1985 as an animated special after it was first staged as a live theatrical musical in 1967.
A Summer Musical centers on a cherished summer camp facing closure due to declining attendance, according to the streamer’s plot summary. For Charlie Brown, who treasures his camp experiences, the news is devastating as he embarks on what should be his memorable final year.
