Apple dropped a teaser video for Powerbeats Fit, wireless earbuds the company has not yet formally announced, on Thursday. Details remain sketchy, but video of athletes wearing the in-ear audio devices revealed a bit about the hardware.

The video promises that Powerbeats Fit will be “fit for every move” when they launch this fall.

Powerbeats Fit teaser video drops hints about upcoming Apple earbuds

Apple’s Powerbeats earbuds lineup targets active users who want high-performance sound paired with comfort. They emphasize designs that stay in the wearer’s ears while exercising.

That’s certainly the feature Apple is highlighting in the new teaser video for Powerbeats Fit. It shows athletes playing hard while their earbuds stay in place. And that’s despite the upcoming model being entirely in-ear, without the brand’s signature ear hook design.

Other features?

Apple’s teaser stays quiet about other features of the upcoming wireless earbuds. That means it’s anyone’s guess whether Powerbeats Fit will offer the integrated heart rate monitor that’s a signature feature of the Powerbeats Pro 2, which launched in February.

At $250, Powerbeats Pro 2 are the premium offering in the Beats lineup. It’s unlikely Powerbeats Fit will take the place of Beats Solo Buds ($79.99), which launched just a year ago, so the upcoming version probably will be a midrange model.

More details could dribble out before the official launch date, which Apple pegged as “Fall 2025.” The debut could happen at Apple’s September “Awe dropping” event in two weeks.
