Apple has started shipping out the new MacBook Pro with Touch Bar to customers in the U.K. and the rest of Europe.
Those who places an order before shipping dates slipped started to see their order status change to “preparing for shipment” on Monday, and many are reporting their new machine has now shipped this morning.
Apple started shipping the new MacBook Pro to customers in the U.S. last week, and many retail stores there now have units for pickup. However, those in the U.K. and Europe have had to wait a little while longer.
[contextly_auto_sidebar] Now orders are shipping, but it seems the MacBook Pro with Touch Bar isn’t available to purchase in Apple stores just yet. According to 9to5Mac, stores in the U.K. expect to get their demo units in next week.
The shipping delay for Europe is likely due to the fact that the new MacBook Pro is Apple’s fast-selling pro computer to date. Despite price hikes around the world, fans can’t wait to get their hands on that fancy Touch Bar and the first Mac with Touch ID.
Apple hasn’t yet told us just how many units it has sold so far, but there are still 4-5 week shipping delays on all standard 13- and 15-inch models almost a month after the machine got its official unveiling and became available to purchase.
