While Apple has introduced all kinds of fancy new screensavers for platforms like Apple TV, the Mac doesn’t get all that much love.
However, Apple has made an exception with its latest macOS Catalina beta. As uncovered by Twitter user J Bank, it features an attractive new screensaver to join the other default ones already found on Macs.

Called Drift, it resembles some psychedelic undersea bank of sea anemones, or an array of light trails. There’s the chance to switch between “Space Gray,” “Silver” and “Spectrum” options — with Bank showing off the latter on Twitter.

Apple introduced its latest macOS Catalina beta yesterday. Catalina gets rid of the iTunes app, and splits it into Music, Podcasts, and TV apps. It also introduces features like Screen Time, previously only on iOS, a new Photos interface, and more. And, well, a fancy screensaver, too!
