Apple has expanded the reach of iTunes Match this week by adding support for an additional 19 countries across Latin America and Europe. The music matching service, which only launched late last year, is now available to users in 37 countries in total.

Apple was expected to add new countries to the service after updating its iTunes Match terms and conditions for the Netherlands on Monday. In addition to the Netherlands, the service is now available in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Estonia, Guatemala, Honduras, Latvia, Lithuania, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, and Venezuela.

Many of these territories only gained access to the iTunes Music Store back in December.

Furthermore, the Netherlands will also gain access to iTunes in the Cloud for music and music videos.

This sucks.  The more countries they open this up to, the slower and more crappy my service works.  Most of the time my phone won’t even stream a song while driving in the car… Apple needs to shut this puppy off and get the infrastructure in place and work out all the bugs before letting more people sign on.

Ever since Steve left this world, Apple has gone down hill.  SO many problems and bugs in iCloud and iTunes Match and Apple seems to be doing NOTHING to fix any of them, just wants to keep on selling more crap to the masses…..

5 Things we hate about itunes Match:

#1 – The match process is NOT transparent.  Apple does not disclose to us what is required to get a good match on our music library.
#2 – The consumer has NO control over the match process.  It’s an all or nothing deal.  If I want to temporarily load some music I recently downloaded to preview in iTunes, it starts sending it off to the cloud even though I haven’t decided if I want to keep those songs.#3 – It erases all your music on your iphone and replaces it with the cloud.#4 – You can’t manually add songs to your iPhone – once you switch iTunes match on, your iPhone is a glorified paper weight when it comes to playing music.#5 – There is no online tool to manage your matched library, it has to be done from your Mac.And as an added bonus round:
If you have thousands of songs, iTunes Match grinds the “music” (ipod) app on your iPhone to a halt, and makes it almost completely unusable.
