The iPhone 7 might look two years old when it goes on sale this September, but it will be much more exciting than you anticipated, according to the latest claims from Deutsche Bank analysts.
Apple’s 4.7-inch model is expected to get an upgraded camera with optical image stabilization, a Force Touch home button, “professional-class waterproofing,” and more.
Wall Street is still convinced that Apple is now switching to a three-year cycle for major iPhone refreshes, which means we’ll have to wait until 2017 — when the iPhone celebrates its 10th anniversary — for a major redesign.
But that doesn’t mean this year’s refresh won’t be worth your hard-earned cash. According to those in the know at Deutsche Bank, the iPhone 7 will be compelling enough to outsell the iPhone 6s.
In addition to an improved camera with OIS, analysts expect the 4.7-inch iPhone 7 to offer a redesigned home button that uses motors to simulate a click (like the Force Touch trackpad), a waterproof design, and improved sound — possibly with stereo speakers.
The iPhone 7 will also lose its headphone jack, and Apple is expected to bundle a 3.5mm adapter — not redesigned EarPods — that will allow users to plug their existing headphones into the handset’s Lightning port.
As for the iPhone 7 Plus, we can expect much of the same, but with a dual-lens camera and 3GB of RAM. Both models are also expected to come in a new color option.

Not redesigned EarPods is something I would never call more interesting, on the opposite, that makes this future iPhone even more a epic fail. Shame ! Shame! Shame!

I am confused about any new iPhone being a fail. A fail compared to what? The last iPhone? An Android phone? Neither of those are true. The truth is, Apple does a great job upping the iPhone each year. Could they do more? Sure, if they were producing crappy Android phones.
The choice is always the same though, either buy an iPhone, or go buy an Android phone if you are not happy.
or stay with your 6 and 6s. This year the iPhone is not coming with many features…. It’s better to wait for the Special 10 year anniversary iPhone in 2017…
Or, if you have $800 to spend this year, and also $800 next year. then get them both xD
Exactly. This is the first year I won’t be updating to the newest model because frankly I really don’t see a reason to.
All you fandroids say that.
Yes, and we use our iPhone 6S’s and Macbooks to do so too. We’re a wiley bunch, clearly.
“crappy Android phones.”…..??
Obviously you are ignorant to the fact that top Android phones are every bit as good or in some cases exceed the iPhone.
The top rated phone is the Note 5, which will only be bested by the Note 7 when it comes out in a couple of weeks.
That was 1 guy and he’s in jail, lol.
$5 says this guy reads Zero Hedge religiously. Another $5 says he doesn’t see a problem with that.
200 Trillion?? Am I reading the correctly?
Yep, only someone with a vast intellect like yours and the rest of Zero Hedge’s brilliant readership could possibly comprehend derivatives exposure.
I’m sure you understand equally well the difference between gross notional derivative exposure and net exposure, and why this means Deutsche Bank’s actual risk is a few orders of magnitude less than theit $72 trillion gross notional exposure, let along the $200 trillion figure that you pulled out of your ass. It’s that complete disregard for intellectual honesty that outed your a ZH reader.
You owe me $15, by the way. But I tell you what: I’ll call us even if you stop embarrassing our great nation by attempting to associate yourself with Thomas Jefferson, who would be absolutely appalled to have someone like yourself in his fan club.
Yeah, Jefferson was real big proponent of exacting capital punishment without a trial, and was just being sarcastic when he frequently wrote about the importance of a just government permitting free speech (no one picked up on it because the “/s” tag had yet to be invented). /s
While Jefferson infamously used the word “treason” more loosely than the Constitution permits, I think that even he would be bewildered to see someone use it to describe the act of correcting a disingenuous bit of misinformation regarding a foreign bank’s risk exposure. He considered treason the highest of all crimes, and frequently opined about the importance of hearing out opposing arguments. Indeed, he was renowned for this open-mindedness. You would do well to understand the man and his motivations, rather than use his visage to lend credibility to your
Wow. Not only is that a disgustingly insensitive thing to say about the most culturally devastating era in Native Americans history, it’s also an incredibly stupid and irrational defense of Jackson’s action.
Next you’ll tell me Hitler was just trying to save the Jews from a genetic predisposition to certain types of cancer.
> I don’t give a flying fuck about your feelings. All I care about is truth. I posted truth.
You are confusing “truth” with “what Tallest Skil believes to be true”. These are often very different things.
> So… you have no refutation of it. Thanks for confirming. Meanwhile Indioes STILL EXIST and their culture STILL EXISTS, where otherwise it wouldn’t have.
A refutation? I’m sorry, I didn’t think it necessary to refute something for which there is absolutely no support whatsoever (and I think there is some obligation on your behalf to explain just how the hell you justify making such a stupid statement), but if you insist…
The hardest part is going to be deciding which angle I should dismantle this ridiculous claim, because there is a ton of support to refute it from history, geography, anthropology and biology.
Or maybe, since rational thought is a clear weak point for you, I’ll approach the matter from a logical standpoint.
> If not for Jackson, the North American indioes would have completely died out before 1900.
I’ll leave alone the fact that you’ve offered no explanation as to why this might be the case, and look at what you are actually arguing.
You are saying that if Event A (Jackson’s existence) had NOT occurred, then Event B (Native Americans continued existence beyond 1900) would also have not have occurred. This is a formal fallacy known as “denying the antecedent”, and it always follows the form:
> If P, then Q
> Not P
> Therefore, not Q
> If Jackson exists, then Native Americans will not have completely died out before 1900
> Not Jackson
> Therefore, Native Americans will have completely died out before 1900
Here is an analogy that helps explain why ANY argument that follow this form is invalid:
> If it’s a stop sign, then it is red.
> It’s not a stop sign
> Therefore it’s not red
One cannot logically conclude that in the absence of an affirmative antecedent, that the consequent must also be false. To do so is to confuse the directionality of logical relationships.
In other words, you cannot logically conclude that Native Americans would not be here today if not for Jackson. It is an invalid argument.
Even if you were to have stated your argument in a valid form, it would still be a fallacious, as you are taking something that is inherently dependent on a huge number of factors (the continued existence over the course of many decades of an entire race of indigenous, highly adaptable people dispersed across a rather large continent, including regions and peoples not even discovered by white people during Jackson’s time) and attributing it to a single cause.
This is called “causal oversimplification”, although it’s really only one of a few “non causa pro causa” fallacies that could be applied to your argument (“post hoc ergo hoc” and “jumping to conclusions” apply equally well, albeit for different reasons). This combined with the previously formal fallacy of denying the antedecent show that your argument is built around demonstrates that you possess a very poor understanding of the relationship between cause and effect.
Your argument is, by definition, an irrational defense of Andrew Jackson.
> *ding ding ding ding ding* Congratulations! Your Godwin Award is waiting in the plaza.
When you’re defending the ethnic cleansing of a disenfranchised minority group on the grounds that it was a humanitarian act, comparisons to Hitler are justified and should be expected.
eth·nic cleans·ing
noun
the mass expulsion or killing of members of an unwanted ethnic or religious group in a society.
Those are minor iteration updates and not “exciting” changes, people care about design as the new standard for exciting.
I missed the “exciting part”. Maybe iphones will get wireless charging next year; that would be exciting 4 years after other smartphones.
Not enough information to know whether it’s exciting. I’ll wait to see what’s released.
The Galaxy Note 7 looks really exciting.
L. O. L. If only it didn’t run that terrible Android software…
you mean touchwiz, pure android is fine
Actually I mean android.
Perfect sense. If only Galaxy S7 used iOS, would be the best option without any doubt!
You won’t be surprised to read this but no, I don’t think it would be. iOS on another phone wouldn’t run as well as it does on the iPhone. Integration between hardware and software matters.
The Note 5 is the top rated phone.
You should tone down your holier than thou atittude as Android is surpassing iOS in every category.
If the headphone jack is really going away is real then we are not upgrading!!
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh :,(
I honestly Hope they stick with this “iPhone 6” style design for a while. I really like the look of the phone, it’s beautiful. So yea, add new features like a better camera (Larger or dual lens), waterproofing, maybe a new home button; but you don’t need a major visual redesign. My Dream Phone is an iPhone 6s with a better camera, waterproofing, faster insides, and a screen made of the new Gorilla Glass.
BIG Disappoint apple!!! I can’t believe this…always behind android .. Defiantly Samsung! I’m think moving to SAMSUNG GALAXY Amazing Display!!! And phone (note7?)
