Apple debuted short four HomePod-themed ads over the weekend, showing off the speaker’s high-end audio playback capabilities. The ads are titled “Beat,” “Bass,” “Equalizer” and “Distortion” and feature some striking but simple imagery that subtly harks back to the clean dancing silhouettes Apple used to use to advertise iTunes and the iPod.

One response to “New HomePod ads show off its musical versatility”
Maybe the advertising is effective in generating sales but jeez, Apple ads have become boring. For years now, it’s all been a variation of the same old thumping music track with highly kinetic live action or graphics. I remember Phil Schiller brought their ads in-house years ago. Are they still made in-house? Don’t they ever aspire anymore for an ad campaign as good as I’m a Mac/I’m a PC? (Not to mention 1984.)
