The rumor-mill has been churning for weeks and it seems almost guaranteed that Apple will unveil the new iPhone on September 12th. That gives you a little over three weeks to find a buyer for your old iPhone before its value drops once Apple announces the new iPhone.
Problem is, if you sell your iPhone right now you’ll have to go a couple weeks without it, maybe pick up a crappy Android phone for cheap, and no one should have to suffer through that. This year there’s actually a way to sell your iPhone and keep it, because Gazelle is offering a pretty sweet deal you’ll want to check out.
Gazelle is a company that purchases used electronics. Usually when you sell them your old iPhone or iPad you only have 30days to send them the product once they’ve given you a quote on its value. To take the gamble out of early iPhone trade-ins, Gazelle announced today that consumers selling a used iPhone can get a price quote locked-in now, but don’t have to mail in their iPhone until October 1.
Right now Gazelle is offering $277 for an 16GB AT&T iPhone 4S in good condition. Gazelle’s chief gadget officer, Anthony Scarsella, says that offer may drop to $100 by the end of September. If you were considering using a site like Gazelle to supplement the cost of a new iPhone, then this is a deal you should probably jump on.

Believe it or not, it is incredibly easy to get personal information from an old phone even you have reset all settings to manufacturer default settings.
So before selling your old phone, the first thing you shoud do is to erase everything on it permanently and keep your personal data safety.
