With all of the flagship stores opened / opening up in best buy, target, and wal-mart, it would be easy for apple to use these stores and their larger stockrooms to help sell an iTv with different models. Seems like allowing these stores to sell apple products will turn out to be quite “convenient” for the tv.
This will be interesting to see how this unfolds. I hope they really revolutionize the market similiar to the iPhone, iPad and iPod

Apple is buying German HDTV manufacturer Loewe. And I don’t believe that they will lose millions. They will make millions!
I just looked at tear downs of Apple’s Thunderbolt screen and Samsung’s ES8000 TV which is Samsung’s flagship. Personally, I think Apple does a better job with design and quality of the components. Now, the case design of what Apple does vs Samsung is one uses a cheap case and the other uses a more expensive case. Apple will probably a better built and better looking product, and in terms of picture quality.. Now, in terms of ease of use for computing functions and user interface, Apple is King in that area, so I would expect a much easier to use interface.
I would not be interested in a Apple built TV for two reasons. 1) I just upgraded to the new Apple TV. 2) I only just bought my TV 9 months ago. If Apple though made a Apple TV box with a 3 digital HD tuner and a 500gb HD I would buy.
if it actually looks like the picture above i’d be disappointed, it’d expect something better designed, saying that i’d probably still buy it.
