Known for accessories like mice and MagSafe-compatible chargers, ESR’s new M4 iPad Air accessories lineup aims to cover everything from day-to-day protection to creative workflows.

“The iPad has evolved into an essential device for productivity, creativity and everyday life, and accessories play a key role in shaping that experience,” said Tim Wu, ESR’s CEO. “Our mission is to provide accessories that help technology integrate seamlessly into users’ daily routines. This new lineup is designed to unlock the full potential of the M4-powered iPad Air, enabling seamless transitions between work, creativity and more.”

The centerpiece of the collection? ESR Shift Magnetic Case. Its Red Dot Award-winning design offers five usage modes and nine viewing angles via wide support brackets and magnetic grooves. It stays stable even on soft surfaces, and the detachable back allows for hands-on use in landscape or portrait orientation, ESR said.

But for those who prefer something slimmer, ESR Flip Magnetic Case offers landscape and portrait flexibility, a foldable upright stand and a built-in slot for the Apple Pencil. It supports viewing angles of 45 and 60 degrees in landscape and a 25-degree writing angle.

And rounding out the protection side is the ESR UltraFit Armorite Screen Protector. It’s made from tempered glass with 9H scratch resistance. ESR claims it can absorb up to seven times the impact of generic protectors and withstand drops from nearly four feet.

So ESR’s two detachable keyboard cases target different types of users. ESR Shift Keyboard Case aims at professionals, with a fully adjustable stand ranging from 20 degrees to 75 degrees, a backlit keyboard, edge-to-edge trackpad and dual Apple Pencil holders. It offers five usage modes in total.

Alternatively, ESR designed Flex Keyboard Case with students and casual users in mind. At 530g — roughly 20% lighter than comparable keyboard cases — it trades some of the Shift’s range for portability. But it still offers four usage modes and a built-in Pencil holder.

A stylus with Find My built in

Perhaps the most notable addition to the lineup is the ESR Geo Digital Pencil. ESR said it’s the first third-party stylus to feature Apple-certified Find My integration. That means if you misplace it, you can track it down through the Find My app just like an AirTag or Apple Pencil Pro.

Beyond that, it connects via Bluetooth for real-time battery monitoring, includes shortcut buttons, and supports palm rejection and tilt sensitivity. It works with all iPad models and comes in five colors.

It pairs naturally with the ESR UltraFit Armorite Paper-Feel Screen Protector. The protector adds a textured matte surface designed to mimic the feel of writing on paper. That could be a popular choice among note-takers and digital artists.
