Hyundai car owners can now get Apple’s CarPlay technology on their dashboard thanks to a new Do-It-Yourself update that has been made available for 2015, 2016, and 2017 car models.

The free update doesn’t even require a trip to the dealer to be installed, and if you want Android Auto, the software can add that too.

Your cars compatibility depends on which infotainment package you have, but versions of the CarPlay update are available for the Elantra GT, Genesis, Santa Fe, Sonata, and Tucson. Upgrade packages are also in the works for the Azera, Sonata Hybrid, Sonata Plug-In Hybrid and the Veloster that should be available soon.

If you have a Hyundai that’s available for the software upgrade, here’s how to install it:

Is America the only country that pronounces Hyundai this way?
