The U.K. division of Apple’s worldwide entertainment team finally inked its first major exclusive-look deal this week, after reaching an agreement with Catastrophe creator, Sharon Horgan.

Horgan, who just finished a similar deal with Amazon, will be reunited with Jay Hunt, Apple’s creative director in Europe. Hunt commissioned Catastrophe for Channel 4 and Amazon.

Apple and Horgan inked their multiyear deal this morning in London, according to a report from Deadline. Financial details of the deal weren’t revealed, but it supposedly covers all future projects that Horgan writes.

Horgan quickly became a hot commodity in Hollywood in recent years. Her comedy series, Catastrophe, in which she writes and acts alongside comedian Rob Delaney, has been well-received among critics during its four seasons. She also created the critically acclaimed HBO comedy Divorce starring Sarah Jessica Parker.

This is Apple’s first exclusive-look deal with a creative that mostly specializes in comedy. The iPhone-maker also inked first-look deals with Alfonso Cuarón, The Morning Show’s Kerry Ehrin, Jason Katims of Friday Night Lights fame and Justin Lin, who revitalized the Fast and Furious franchise.
