Apple quietly introduced two new color options for its affordable Beats Flex wireless headphones Wednesday. The $49.99 buds, introduced last October, now come in smoke gray and flame blue.
Beats Flex take many of the things that make AirPods and pricier Beats so great, and bundle those features into a more affordable package.
You get the Apple W1 chip for seamless connectivity, excellent sound and more. Other features include up to 12 hours of battery life in between charges, the same Fast Fuel option found in other Beats headphones, and Audio Sharing with other AirPods and Beats users.
And now you can get your Beats Flex headphones in new color options.
Get Beats Flex in gray and blue
Smoke gray and flame blue color options are now available from the Apple Online Store at the same $49.99. They join the black and yuzu yellow options on sale since last fall.
Both colors are currently in stock in the United States and ready to ship in one business day. They’re not yet available for in-store pickup as far as we can tell, though that could change at any time.
The new color options should also go on sale through third-party retailers like Amazon and Best Buy soon. Aside from a fresh lick of paint, they’re technically identical to the original Beats Flex buds.
