Apple’s latest “If it’s not an iPhone” ad is all about amazing apps

Apple’s on a roll with new iPhone ads. A little more than a week after debuting a series of news ads as part of their “If it’s not an iPhone” marketing push, Cupertino has supplemented it with a new ad, focused on the kaleidoscope of wonderful apps available for the iPhone 6.

Following ads last week about “Hardware & Software” and “Love,” the new app is called “Amazing Apps.” You can watch it above, but here’s the narration:

This is an iPhone. And it comes with something amazing. An App Store with over 1.5 million of the best apps available. That’s over one and a half million hand-picked, awe-inspiring, just plain surprising, who-knew-a-phone-could-do-that apps. If it’s not an iPhone, it’s not an iPhone.

Of course, not all of those 1.5 million apps are exactly winners. In fact, I’d be surprised if there were 150,000 truly great apps in the iOS App Store. But there’s no doubt that, when it comes to both quality and quantity, Apple’s got a leap on the competition.
