There’s still no sign whether Apple Watch preorders will actually arrive on doorsteps by Friday, but at least one customer has already received an Apple Watch preorder — sort of.
A reddit user in Australia posted pictures this morning of an Apple Watch charging cable that arrived on his doorstep a few days early, despite the package’s status still being set to “Preparing for Shipment” yesterday.

Apple Watch preorder shipping dates slipped immediately after the device went on sale April 10. Current shipping estimates for new orders have been pushed back to June.
Those who were lucky enough to get their order in quick still haven’t received a shipment notification, and with April 24 looming just two days away, many Apple fans are doubtful their new smartwatch will arrive this week.
Even if your order is still in the “Preparing for Shipment” phase, you can find the tracking info by following these quick steps.

I agree. beautiful minimilism. I just hope to the Apple gods that the cable doesnt suffer from the same flaw that the lighting cable does. Which from the looks of it, it might too.
