However, at its retail price of $1,599, the monitor is pretty expensive for what it offers, especially since it is a few years old now. However, a current Apple Studio Display deal on Amazon drops it to just $1,539.95.

Apple unveiled the Studio Display in March 2022 as a cheaper alternative to the company’s Pro Display XDR, which is too expensive for most average users. Featuring a 5K True Tone display with a P3 wide color gamut, the Studio Display can hit a peak brightness of 600 nits. It also features studio-quality microphones and a six-speaker sound system.
Apple put an A13 Bionic chip inside the Studio Display. The processor powers the monitor’s 12MP f/2.4 Ultra Wide camera and Center Stage, ensuring you remain in the frame while on a video call, even when moving.
Another highlight of the Studio Display is its upstream Thunderbolt 3 port, which supports 96W charging. That’s good enough for a MacBook Air. However, if you own a MacBook Pro with M4 Pro or M4 Max processor, the Studio Display won’t fast-charge the laptop.
The Studio Display also packs three USB-C ports with 10Gbps support for connecting other accessories.
Save $350 on the Studio Display
As mentioned, Apple wants you to pay $1,599 for the Studio Display. That’s a lot of money to pay for a 27-inch 5K monitor. Thankfully, Amazon’s Studio Display deal makes it a tad more affordable.
