Apple stores are expected to reopen today, August 29, after being shuttered complete with designer sandbags over the weekend, but Apple’s website advises people to call ahead for opening hours.

“We will reopen Monday, August 29. Please call the store for details regarding opening time.”

Does this count?  I lost power and broadband, so I’m charging my PowerBook (and stealing bandwidth) outside the Apple store at Westfarms (Hartford)

Westfarms was PACKED!  I really didn’t understand this kind of traffic, especially so soon after the Hurricane.  Most of the immediate area (except me) had their power back, and there weren’t a lot of students.  Every display was popular, MacBooks, MBAirs, iPhones, iPads, iMacs, even iPods!  And they were selling pretty well, not just a bunch of lookie-loos.
