Apple Releases Thunderbolt Display Firmware Update With Bug Fixes

Apple has issued a firmware update for its professional-grade Thunderbolt Display. Update 1.1 brings minor bug fixes and stability improvements.

This update addresses a fan noise issue affecting a small number of Apple Thunderbolt Displays and improves stability.

The updater application will be installed in the Utilities folder inside the Application folder and will be launched automatically when you close this installer.

Please follow the instructions in the updater application to complete the update process.

The update can be downloaded directly from Apple’s website or found in Software Update. Apple’s 27-inch Thunderbolt Display retails for $999.

    Too bad we can’t get an thunderbolt to hdmi adapter to solve all the woes!

    Too bad this monitor doesn’t even work with a Mac Pro.
