Getting your chicken fix will no longer require a wallet at Chick-fil-A restaurants.

The company’s long-awaited Apple Pay rollout that was announced last year is finally coming to stores nationwide this week, allowing iPhone and Apple Watch owners to pay with a tap.

Chick-fil-A confirmed in a tweet this afternoon that it has begun to add Apple Pay and Android Pay support to its registers with the launch expected to be completed at all stores by August 19th.

Some Chick-fil-A customers have already reported that they’re able to pay with Apple Pay. The adoption of wireless payments comes after the restaurant chain experimented with QR codes and promos through its iOS app.

My local CFA has had in-store Apple Pay for a while now. IDK about drive-thru though (I assume it does.) It’s great to hear that they’re rolling it out to all stores.
Coincidentally it’s also participating in the Google Hands Free Payment pilot program.

This seems a little surprising, given Chic-fil A’s anti-gay history.

One man has that point of view. Not “the company”.

*SIGH* It’s more surprising that the uninformed even still make comments about Chic-fil a being “anti-gay” when years ago one executive stated his deeply held beliefs about marriage being between a man and woman.

I guess Obama and Hillary Clinton are also anti-gay for holding those same positions—until it became politically inconvenient, that is…

The foundation no longer financially supports some of the most hateful organizations that do nothing but spread lies and misinformation about GLBT people. They have been a model for how good Christian behave.
