In just over a week Apple will reveal its big software updates for all its products at WWDC, but for now it’s still working on bug fixes on the current platforms before moving on.
Apple seeded four new beta updates to developers today, bringing a big batch of under the hood improvements to iOS, OS X El Capitan, watchOS and tvOS.
The second beta versions of OS X 10.11.6 El Capitan, iOS 9.3.3, watchOS 2.2.2 and tvOS 9.2.2 are now available for developers to download from Apple’s Developer Center. You can also install the new updates via the Mac App Store or as an OTA update on iOS if you have the previous beta build installed.
Installing tvOS 9.2.2 is slightly more complicated and requires developers to use Apple’s configuration tool by plugging the device into a Mac over USB. If you want to try watchOS 2.2.2 beta 2, you’ll have to update your iPhone to iOS 9.3.3 beta 2 first.
All four of the betas are void of any UI changes and mostly feature minor fixes. The release notes for iOS 9.3.3 beta 2 mention known issues with the Simulator and Dictionary, while the announcements of the other three betas are even less nondescript.
