Looking for a fun weekend project? Got 36 iMac boxes lying around? Make yourself an iMac hamster wheel.

Redditor studercinema posted this incredible picture of two school IT dudes riding three dozen iMac boxes in a giant rolling circle.

How is this possible? It turns out an empty iMac box has a ten degree angle difference between one end and the other. Grab some packing tape and strap thirty six of them together, and you’ve got a 360 degree circle.

The boxes are empty, of course. That’s not to say this is a cheap project, though. With empty iMac boxes going for $50 on eBay, strapping 36 of them together is still an $1,800 project. Enough to buy an iMac!
