TL;DR: Get a 1TB Drime Cloud Storage and Transfr Pro lifetime subscription on sale for $89.99.
iCloud+ costs $9.99 a month for 2TB, which rounds out to about $120 per year, every year, indefinitely. If you want a better option, you can get 1TB of cloud storage and a specialized file transfer tool for life for just $89.99 (regularly $748).
1TB of storage with no monthly bill
Drime is a newer cloud storage platform that keeps your files on servers in the EU, so your data falls under GDPR and never passes through the U.S. Anything you want completely private can go in the encrypted Vault. Those files are encrypted on your device before they upload, so even Drime can’t open them.
There’s no file size limit either. A full video project or a folder of raw photos uploads without being split up, and 1TB leaves room for years of both. Drime keeps everything synced between your Mac and iPhone. If you save over the wrong file, you can restore an older version for up to 120 days.
Small teams can share a workspace with up to 15 members. Everyone works from the same files, and they can edit documents, leave timestamped comments on videos and PDFs and collect e-signatures without leaving Drime. Shared links can also be locked with a password or set to expire.
Transfr Pro is for files you need to send to someone outside your team. Transfers have no size limit and are encrypted end to end, and the recipient can preview a video or document before downloading it. You’ll see when they view or download it and where they opened it, so you don’t have to email a client to ask if the file arrived. Files remain available for up to 60 days, and you can put your own branding on the transfer page.
Pay once for two tools you can keep for life.
