Even the best streaming services can be a crapshoot when it comes to our favorite shows — one day they’re there, the next day they aren’t. Aren’t Netflix and Hulu supposed to have the biggest, most formidable libraries of content? Not exactly.

SelectTV by FreeCast boasts the world’s largest entertainment library, bringing the perks of both cable TV and web streaming, effectively dwarfing any competitor’s library. The same can’t be said of the price, though, because right now you can get a year of SelectTV for just $19 at Cult of Mac Deals.

The subscription offers access to more than 300,000 TV episodes, 200,000 movies, 50,000 radio stations and 5,000 curated live channels, all from a single browser interface.

That’s content from more than 150 countries, including classic and brand new TV shows, box office hits, a full calendar of live events, sports, concerts and lots more. All of which you can stream to your computer or connect to your home TV via Google Chromecast or HDMI. Certain content restrictions apply to international users, but for this price it’s hard to go wrong.

Buy now: Sign up for a year of SelectTV for $19 — that’s 47 percent off the usual price.

Awesome…except there is NO iOS app and NO ATV app…something that is not easily clarified.

An iOS app is coming soon, don’t worry! We’re currently just waiting on approval from the app store, so you should be able to download our app in the coming weeks. In the mean time, the complete SelectTV experience is available on Mac and PC. Please let us know if you have any questions.

I was told that months ago. It doesn’t take Apple months to approve apps. I would be thrilled to have an iOS app and would be happy to renew my subscription. But, at this point, it’s all vaporware and empty promises.

      • SelectTV says:

Apple’s approval process is a lot more rigorous than the Android Play store’s. If an app is not approved, often the feedback we receive from Apple is not very specific as to why, so it then takes some time to figure that out and make the necessary changes before we can resubmit the app, which then has to go through the approval process again. Our Android app is currently live and our iOS app will ultimately be very similar, if you’d like to take a look at that for an example. I’d be happy to notify you when the iOS app is available if you’d like. We are indeed working on it though, so we apologize for the delay and appreciate our customers’ patience.

I have Amazon Prime, Netflix, and Hulu. I can watch whatever I want and don’t need cable, it’s just a hassle to check each one when there’s a show or movie I want to watch. For pocket change, this service puts them all in one place and takes away all the guess work. Not bad at all.

  3. Fantastic, I have also amazon prime which is running well. I am satisfy with the products. Thanks for the sharing.
