The cheapest iPad in Apple’s lineup is down to an even lower price. The $329 10.2-inch iPad is currently available for $279 after a $50 discount.
While not the lowest, this deal makes the 2021 10.2-inch iPad much more affordable.

2021 iPad packs dated internals
Apple’s 2021 iPad features a 10.2-inch Retina display with True Tone support. It is powered by an A13 Bionic chip and features an 8MP rear camera. At the front, a 12MP Ultra Wide camera with Center Stage support will automatically keep you in the center of the frame while on video calls.
The 10.2-inch iPad is now the only device in Apple’s lineup to feature a Touch ID-based Home button. It also has stereo speakers and can be configured with up to 256GB of storage.
Unlike other iPad models, the 2021 iPad packs a Lightning connector for charging and data transfer. It is compatible with the first-gen Apple Pencil and the Smart Keyboard.
Get the entry-level 10.2-inch iPad for less than $300
With a starting price tag of $329, the 10.2-inch iPad is notably cheaper than the iPad 10 and iPad Air. Its specs and features also make it an ideal tablet for college students. If you are on a tight budget, you can take advantage of Amazon’s latest deal and get the 2021 iPad for as low as $279.
This discount is only on the Space Gray color, with the Silver shade available for $309 after a $20 discount. The bummer is that the entry-level 10.2-inch iPad ships with 64GB of storage. This might not be sufficient for most users. If that’s the case for you, opt for the 256GB variant. It is listed for $399 after an $80 discount.
There are also significant discounts on the iPad 9’s Wi-Fi + Cellular variants. However, if you are willing to spend that much money, go through our iPad 9 vs. iPad 10 comparison and consider getting the latter.
