Apple still hasn’t announced a date for its MagSafe Duo charger, which could stir fears among more nervous fans of a repeat of the much delayed, ill-fated AirPower charger of a few years back.

Have no fear, though: If an Apple reseller in Switzerland is to be believed, we don’t have too much longer to wait until the MagSafe Duo will be shipping.

Digitec Galaxus, a store in Switzerland that is an Apple Authorized Reseller, has opened up preorders for the device. It currently says that orders made today will be delivered between December 21 and December 29. The same is true of in-store pickups. That would indicate that customers only have another three weeks to wait for the MagSafe Duo charger — at least, provided the information is accurate.

Apple has only revealed that the charger will launch “at a later date,” although it has shipped early units to press reviewers (which never happened with the AirPower, which was ultimately cancelled.)

The MagSafe Duo charger is a double charging mat for and iPhone and Apple Watch. It will cost $129 in the United States, and requires a separately sold USB-C power adapter. This is among the first charging pads Apple has ever made. Early signs aren’t overly promising, though. Dieter Bohn at The Verge hailed it as “overpriced and [under-delivering],” which doesn’t instill a whole lot of confidence. TechCrunch was a bit kinder. Although their review basically said it “works as advertised” but “feels like it should be $70” instead of $129.

Furthermore, if you’re after fast charging the $129 MagSafe Duo charger is slower than a $49 MagSafe puck. In other words, it sounds exactly like the “less ambitious” wireless charging gadget that was reported as being designed to fill the gap left by AirPower’s cancellation.
