Some people who already gave Apple Arcade a try and passed on this gaming service are getting a second shot. Apple sent emails to an unknown number of former users with an offer of “How about another month on us?”

Take it for another spin

The email points out that this subscription service has more to offer now that it did immediately after it launched last fall. “We’re always adding new games and updates to the Arcade tab, so you’re sure to find plenty to love. Come see all the new additions with another free month,“ said Apple.

A copy of the email came to Cult of Mac’s Ian Fuchs, who did the free trial back when the gaming service launched, paid for 1 month, then canceled.

It’s not known how many other people also received this offer of another Apple Arcade trial. Or if it’s a sign that Apple plans to make this offer general, allowing everyone a second chance to try its gaming service. Anyone who’s interested should keep an eye on their emailbox.

More about Apple Arcade

Apple’s gaming service offers unlimited access to more than 100 iPhone, iPad and Apple TV titles for  $4.99 a month. And that’s the complete cost — in-app purchases, loot boxes and ads are banned.

The array of games in Apple Arcade includes all the standards: RPGs, puzzlers, sidescrollers and more. Check our list of the best Apple Arcade games you can play right now to see where to get started.

These are playable on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV. And some have Mac versions too. Beyond just touchscreens, many games support a selection of Xbox, PS4 and MFi controllers.
