Apple is gunning for Silicon Valley’s title as the funniest nerdy comedy on TV with its upcoming show Mythic Quest.

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia star Rob McElhenney gave gamers a preview of the TV show he’s been working on for Apple TV+ at E3 today. Mythic Quest, is a comedy following the developers behind a fictional game that rose to become the most popular title ever. McElhenny himself plays the creative director of the game as he readies to launch the first expansion, Raven’s Banquet

This will undoubtedly be Apple’s funniest TV show:

Apple revealed its upcoming Apple TV+ service at a keynote in March. It’s expected to launch this fall, although an exact date and pricing haven’t been given. We also don’t know which TV shows will be ready at launch, but hopefully Mythic Quest is one of them.

Based on the short trailer, it looks like the show will be like World of Warcraft meets It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. McElhenny is great at playing the ignorant and selfish character Mac on Always Sunny so this sounds like a great role for him. He also partnered with Always Sunny co-star and writer Charlie Day to create the new show. Day doesn’t have a role in Mystic Quest but other co-stars include F. Murray Abraham, Imani Hakim, David Hornsby, Danny Pudi, Ashly Burch, Charlotte Nicdao, and Jessie Ennis.
