The latest batch of beta builds from Apple is now available to developers this morning. Developers can download the third betas of iOS 11, macOS High Sierra, watchOS 4 and tvOS 11.
Apple’s new software comes with a slew of new bug fixes and performance enhancements for the iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and Apple TV to go with the new features that were unveiled at WWDC 2017. iOS 11 beta 3 also packs a couple of big changes to Siri and Control Center.
What’s inside iOS 11 beta 3
Release notes for iOS 11 beta 3 reveal that Apple has changed how the Wi-Fi toggle works in Control Center. Now when you press the Wi-Fi button Control Center disconnects you from the current network and disables Wi-Fi. Previously the button only disconnected you from the current network.
iOS 11 beta 3 also added new voices for both genders of Brazilian Portuguese, Canadian French, Dutch, and Swedish. There are also new female voices for English and Mexican Spanish.
Siri is also a better travel companion with the new update. Translation request support has been added for English to Chinese, Spanish, German,
French, and Italian. Apple also added some new features to networking and ARKit.
We’ll be combing through all four new betas over the next few hours and will let you know if we find out any other major new additions.
