Apple has flaunted the iPhone 7’s new waterproof powers in plenty of ads, but did you know it’s also (kinda) fireproof?
To see just how much damage the new (RED) iPhone 7 can take, one insidious YouTuber placed the new device in a bucket filled with 25 pounds of gunpowder. The giant gunpowder explosion is truly impressive, but your mind will be blown by the condition of the iPhone once the smoke clears.
Enjoy the carnage:
The new (PRODUCT) RED iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus were introduced by Apple at the end of March. Other than the new paint job, nothing’s changed: The new red iPhones pack the same specs and design as the iPhone 7 models Apple introduced in September 2016.

It bleeds my heart to see these people destroying iPhones while others are willing to give out their kidney just to get an iPhone.

10 Pounds maybe…25, doubtful…
As a friend pointed out: “Samsungs, on the other hand, can’t even survive setting themselves on fire.”
I wouldn’t call that an explosion. In the open like that, black powder just burns really hot and really fast. You have to contain the hot gasses for a bang or boom.
