Apple CEO Tim Cook was all smiles during a brief appearance at the New York Stock Exchange this morning. While taking a quick tour of the floor with his nephew, Cook revealed that AirPods are so popular Apple can’t make them fast enough.
During a short interview, Cook told CNBC the new AirPods are a “runaway success” and that the company is making them as fast as it can. Cook didn’t divulge details on how well the company is doing, but he did hint that the holiday was really good to Apple.
Here’s what Tim had to say:

AirPods remain in high demand
Apple’s new wireless AirPods are currently sold out worldwide. New stock arrives at stores daily, but demand is so high units only stay on shelves for a short period.
The AirPods were announced at a keynote alongside the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in September. Production issues caused the AirPods to be delayed until just a few weeks before Christmas.
We’ll likely need to wait until Apple’s next earnings call to find out how many AirPods units got sold, but even then the company probably won’t release specific numbers.
A recent report from analytics firm Flurry shows Apple dominated all other smartphone and tablet makers during the critical Christmas shopping season. iOS devices accounted for 44 percent of all new device activations the week leading up to Christmas.

Tim Cook could sell his own steamed turds on bone china plates (sourced from a monk by Jony Ive), and he would still call it a runaway success. And I don’t mean running to the bathroom.
I’ve made $84 ,000 till now this holiday season working via internet and I’m a full time student . I’m taking advantage of a web business project I observed and even I’ve made this kind of great money . It’s extremely user-friendly so I am just so thankful that I found out regarding it . The capability using this is never-ending . Here’s everything I do>>> SECURE11.WEEBLY.COM
I grew to dislike Cook. He’s a hypocrite claiming to be the nice guy, care about environment etc while in the same time orchestrating grand scale tax evasion schemes, making sure Apple’s product are accessible to less and less people and frankly just showing pure greed
I wouldn’t call making customers choose between buying dongles or buying this product a ‘runaway success’….more like choosing between the lesser of two evils.
You asume only iPhone 7 users buy Airpods.. you are wrong.
