Apple’s flagship Apple Retail Store in Brisbane, Australia may be less than two weeks away from opening.
Following a period of construction — including a delay — barricade signage has appeared outside the location: usually a surefire indication that launch is imminent.
Apple Store watcher Gary Allen (@ifostore) noted in a recent tweet that signage usually appears between 10–14 days before the store opens to the general public. Using this as a measure, a launch date of January 10-11 would seem to be in order: representing a slight delay from the October 2013 launch originally predicted.
Earlier this year, the Brisbane Apple Store suffered a delay as the result of complications related to installing the modern retail store within an historic building. These problems were soon corrected, however, and development resumed.
