The HyperDrive Next Snap-On USB-C SSD Enclosure lets iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max users easily record terabytes of high-resolution video.

It’s one of many accessories Hyper just unveiled at CES 2024, including some with the new Qi2 wireless charging standard.

With an iPhone 15 Pro or Pro Max, you can record high-resolution ProRes video, but only if the data is going directly to an external SSD.

You don’t want the drive dangling from the phone, so Hyper developed a 2-in-1 M.2 SSD enclosure that magnetically clings to the handset. Connect the two via a USB-C cable and you’re ready to start recording.

The HyperDrive Next Snap-On USB-C SSD Enclosure is scheduled to launch in the second quarter of 2024 at $39.99.

Apple adopted the original Qi wireless charging standard with the iPhone 8, but significantly improved it with MagSafe starting with the iPhone 12. The alternative version puts magnets around the wireless charging coil to automatically align the iPhone to compatible accessories. The Wireless Power Consortium liked the idea so much it incorporated it into Qi2, which will essentially bring MagSafe to Android.

Hyper has now joined the array of accessory-makers with Qi2-compatible products.

The HyperJuice 4-in-1 Qi2 Charging Stand ($149.99) powers up a handset and an Apple Watch, plus its stand has a pair of charging mats. It’s scheduled to be available in the second quarter of 2024.

The HyperJuice 10,000mAh Qi2 Power Bank ($129.99) has a built-in wireless charger for compatible handsets, and an Apple Watch charger. It launches in Q3 2024.

The HyperJuice Qi2 Puck Stand + Apple Watch Charger ($119.99) merges two wireless chargers into one small package. It’s also set for a Q3 2024 release.

The enormous CES trade show is a popular opportunity for companies to show off products that won’t be out for months. Also on Hyper’s list for 2024 are:
