Zagg-owned mobile-accessories maker mophie let loose a blast from the past with a fresh twist at CES Monday, rolling out its re-engineered Juice Pack cellphone battery case to keep iPhone 15 series handsets charged anywhere.
And the company, which has made Juice Pack products since the first iPhone launched in 2007, also let everyone know its Qi2 Snap+ Powerstation Mini with Stand won a CES 2024 Innovation Award.

Mophie said it engineered the new Juice Pack smartphone battery case for use with iPhone 15 series handsets. Juice Packs go all the way back to the birth of iPhone in 2007. mophie made them for each model until creating a universal version in 2020.
The slender new rechargeable integrated battery case for iPhone 15 series handsets contains a 2,400 – 2,800 mAh internal lithium-ion polymer battery that helps users get through the day without worrying about battery life.
When you connect juice pack to a power source, the Priority+ charging feature enables pass-through charging. That means iPhone gets power first. And after the smartphone’s fully charged, Juice Pack’s battery recharges.
The new pack keeps a low profile despite carrying a battery and features a soft-touch acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) finish intended to make it comfortable to hold. The device’s slightly raised corners and high-impact protection system guard against everyday iPhone screen scratches and cracks.
And for the first time, the new Juice Pack for iPhone 15 is manufactured with up to 50% post-consumer recycled plastic content with packaging made with up to 90% recyclable packaging materials, mophie said.

mophie’s other news from the big electronics show concerns its 2024 CES Innovation Award for the Snap+ Powerstation Mini with Stand in the Mobile Devices, Accessories & Apps category. The awards recognize outstanding design and engineering in consumer-tech products.

mophie’s pocket-sized mobile power device with a folding stand lets you charge devices upon contact or through an included USB-C cable. It comes housed in an ultra-slim chassis with an LED battery-life indicator.
The integrated aluminum stand holds a smartphone, smartwatch or wireless earbuds charging case. Using a 5,000mAh battery, it charges a handset in portrait or landscape mode. Up to a 100-degree range of movement enables hands-free viewing.
Compatible with MagSafe and Qi2 wireless charging standards, the powerstation’s internal custom lithium cobalt oxide battery puts out up to 21W to make sure devices like iPhone get a full 15W charge.
Part of a larger picture
The new Snap+ Powerstation Mini with Stand ($69.95) is part of a larger Qi2 technology road map update from mophie, which also includes:
- Snap+ 3-in-1 Stand ($129.95) for iPhone, AirPods and Apple Watch
- Snap+ Wireless Charging Vent Mount ($69.95) for iPhone with an adjustable arm extension
The three products will be available in March on mophie.com and other retailers, mophie said.
