This time of year folks are getting in the holiday spirit and setting up Christmas trees, Hanukkah menorahs or Kwanzaa kinaras. But don’t forget to light up your Mac, iPad and iPhone screens with festive holiday wallpapers, too.

Today’s featured setup iMac and MacBook Air setup is so festive they could maybe skip all the other decorations!

Desktop wallpaper can make a computer setup festive for the holidays

Redditor PartyPrice5927 (“PP”) showcased the festive setup in a post entitled, “Stoked.”

“Finally got an extra monitor,” they said, referring to the 27-inch HP 27MQ QHD (1440p) display in portrait (vertical) mode in the setup in the photograph above. “Can’t wait to do more with this space. Work in progress! Also, very in the Christmas mood apparently.”

The Christmas mood of the setup is unmistakable given the warmth and cheer of the desktop wallpaper showing on each screen — HP external monitor on the left, 24-inch iMac in the middle and 13-inch MacBook Air on the right.

“What’s the purpose of the iMac and MacBook?” a commenter asked. “Do you use one as additional screen space?”

“Use the iMac for Adobe software mostly,” PP replied. “I’ve had my laptop forever honestly since college still working on backing everything up on it. I really don’t need it at this point unless I really feel like going to a coffee shop or something to do work on. My partner uses a laptop stand mostly for his work laptop since he doesn’t want to mix personal and work.”

Where to get holiday wallpapers

Given the extreme festivity glowing on the screens, PP and their partner may not need any physical decorations in the house. They could skip the tree and just pile up the presents around the workstation. And theoretically, this could work for others no matter what holiday is involved at this time of year, be it Christmas, Hanukkah or Kwanzaa.

PP said they got the desktop wallpaper decorating the screens on Etsy. That particular shop has a large array of holiday wallpapers on Christmas and “winter wonderland” themes.

You can also explore holiday wallpapers elsewhere, of course. See below.
