Although the well-reviewed Beats Studio Pro wireless active noise canceling (ANC) headphones just launched in July, you can now get them for half off on Amazon (49% off, to be exact). And that’s not a Prime member special, either.

So for an unknown amount of time, you can nab them for $179.95 instead of $350.

Get Beats Studio Pro Bluetooth ANC headphones for half off

Beats Studio Pro headphones got a lot of good reviews when they came out July 19. Plus they’re marked “#1 New Release” on Amazon. And 83% of reviews there are either 4 or 5 stars. So it’s a bit surprising you can already get a whopping 49% off on all four colors — black, deep brown, navy blue and sandstone.

They did get a previous $100 discount in late August, but this tops that.

Beats Studio Pro updated the aging Beats Studio3 flagship headphones from 2017. Here’s a roundup of reviewer impressions of the new cans, which I wrote about in July:

The general consensus among Beats Studio Pro reviewers is that the company decided to keep an iconic design with just a few changes, like softer earcups. But to some it feels a bit cheap, “plasticky” and stale. The big changes inside, however, overhaul the technology and result in excellent headphones with good sound, great active noise cancellation (ANC) and solid appeal to both Apple and Android users.

Reviewers were especially impressed with the sound-quality and noise-cancellation improvements. They’re the first Beats headphones to feature head-tracked Spatial Audio. They retained some of Beats’ bass-heavy signature sound, but not too much. And as for noise-cancellation, Beats really got it right with these according to all reviews we saw.

The headphone don’t include Apple’s H1 chip, however. That’s got up and down sides, as the headphones don’t include all Apple features but do serve Apple and Android users well.

Here’s more on that from my review roundup:

For Apple users, the cans feature one-touch pairing, iCloud device synchronization, hands-free “Hey Siri,” dynamic head tracking for Spatial Audio, Find My support and OTA firmware updates.

But note the lack of in-ear detection, which is a drag for many users. When you take off the headphones, they won’t pause playback. You also won’t be able to connect to more than one Apple device at a time.

Android users get Fast Pair, automatic pairing with Android and Chrome devices (via Google account), audio switching, Find My Device as well as OTA updates with the Beats app for Android.

Grab any color of Beats Studio Pro headphones for the very low price of $179.99 at Amazon.
