Studio Display is an excellent alternative to the Pro Display XDR

Revealed alongside the Mac Studio in March 2022, the Studio Display is a cheaper alternative to the Pro Display XDR from Apple. It packs a 5K True Tone display with a P3 wide color gamut and 600 nits brightness. The monitor also features studio-quality microphones and a six-speaker sound system.

Internally, the Studio Display uses an A13 Bionic chip to power its 12MP f/2.4 Ultra Wide camera and Center Stage. This ensures you are always in the frame while on a video call, even when moving. As for connectivity, the monitor features one upstream Thunderbolt 3 port with 96W charging support. You also get three USB-C ports with 10Gbps support for connecting other accessories.

Save $250 on the Studio Display

With a starting price of $1,599, the Studio Display is not a cheap monitor. A discount of $250 on Amazon makes it a tad more affordable, though. If glare is an issue for you, consider getting the monitor with the nano-texture glass, which is priced at $1,899. But right now, Amazon has discounted it by $100 to $1,799.

This is among the best deal we have seen on the Studio Display this year. If you have been looking to buy this monitor for a while, this is the deal you should not miss.

Not as good as Apple's Pro Display XDR, but the 27-inch Apple Studio Display packs an impressive panel coupled with a six-speaker system and studio-quality microphones.
