A mid-season color addition isn’t unusual for the iPhone. A year ago, Apple freshened up the iPhone 13 series with two shades of green, for example.
Starting today, both the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 and the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Plus are available in the same shade of yellow.
“People love their iPhone and rely on it every day for all that they do, and now there’s an exciting addition to the lineup with a new yellow iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus,” said Bob Borchers, Apple’s vice president of worldwide product marketing, in a press release.
To be clear, Apple didn’t change any of the specs of the new devices. They are identical to the versions that debuted in autumn 2022 except for the casing color.
