Google is bringing one of the key Pixel-exclusive camera features, Magic Eraser, to the iPhone. The feature is now available on all smartphones as a part of Google One.

Using Magic Eraser, you can erase unwanted people and objects from your photos with a tap.

Google One subscription now gets you Magic Eraser

Google announced Magic Eraser alongside the Pixel 6 series in October 2021. Back then, the company claimed the feature was exclusive to the Pixel 6 as it relied on the AI prowess of its custom Tensor chip. But that no longer seems to be the case.

If you pay for Google One, you can enjoy Magic Eraser on your phone. The only exceptions are Google’s older Pixel phones, which can enjoy this feature for free.

Magic Eraser also has a Camouflage mode. It lets you change the color of distracting objects in your photos so they blend better.

If you own an iPhone, use Google Photos, and pay for Google One, you can now use Magic Eraser on your photos. The option will appear as one of the editing tools in the Google Photos app or on the web.

Google Photos gains new photo editing tools

New editing options are also coming to Google Photos. This includes new collage styles and the ability to apply Styles to a single photo in a collage. A new HDR video effect will help balance your videos’ dark and bright portions to achieve a more balanced look.

Lastly, Google now offers free shipping on print orders for Google One subscribers. This is available in the United States, Canada, the EU, and the United Kingdom.

As a part of Google One, you are entitled to additional storage, family sharing, and other perks. The subscription starts from as low as $1.99 per month.
