Apple has released a couple of new ads highlighting the iPhone 14’s Action Mode and the Undo Send feature in iOS 16’s Messages app. The features are available on both regular iPhone 14 and 14 Pro series.

This is the second ad Apple has released since the iPhone 14 release to promote Action Mode. The advanced stabilization mode provides gimbal-like stabilization.

iPhone 14 Action Mode

The first ad showcases the capabilities of iPhone 14’s Action Mode. It shows a mom using Action Mode on her iPhone 14 to capture her son’s performance in a race. Despite the phone shaking violently while capturing the video, the final footage comes out smooth and stable.

In Action Mode, your iPhone 14 will use the 0.5x ultra-wide camera to record videos with gimbal-like stabilization. Unlike regular videos, this mode limits you to Full HD and 2.8k resolution. Action Mode is meant to capture fast-moving footage when you have to run around with the phone to capture the footage.

Unsent Message

The second advert, titled R.I.P Leon, shows a man sitting next to a dead pet lizard. In extreme grief, the person sends the lizard’s owner a message that Leon is dead. The lizard suddenly returns to life right after that, leading the man to use the Unsend Message option in iMessage to revoke the text.

Unsend Message is an iOS 16 feature and is available on all compatible iPhones and iPads. You can edit or unsend a message in iOS 16 within 15 minutes of sending it.
