Episode XOXO is an interactive storytelling game full of love, drama and adventure now on Apple Arcade. It brings a version of the very popular Episode: Choose Your Story game to Apple’s gaming service.
It is now playable on a wide range of Apple computers, from iPhone to Mac.

Episode XOXO from Pocket Gems’ Episode Interactive Studio features a growing collection of interactive stories with love and adventure. But it’s not always smooth sailing.
The fun starts with customizing an avatar and design an outfit. Then dive into the diverse collection of stories.
In one choose-your-own-path tale, the main character wants to be a singer but their parents are determined to make them a doctor. Then they get their big break. In another, the player meet a student at a prestigious French art school with no artistic talent whatsoever. What’s their secret?
And there are more. Plus, Pocket Gems promises to keep adding stories.

Episode XOXO launched Friday, January 6 on Apple Arcade. There are versions for iPhone, Mac, iPad and Apple TV. Game controllers are an option for any of these platforms.
Pocket Gem’s original Episode: Choose Your Story is free to download but includes a bunch of in-app purchases. In contrast, everything in the Apple Arcade version comes with a $4.99-per-month subscription.
And there are more story games in the service. That includes South of the Circle, Hitchhiker and Necrobarista.
Plus there’s plenty of traditional action, sports, racing and casual games that come with a single Apple Arcade subscription. A family can share a subscription, too.
Episode XOXO isn’t the only title in the service without in-app purchases. These are banned from Apple Arcade. There are no surprise costs.
