Apple’s 2022 iPad Air with M1 chip is down to its lowest-ever price on Amazon. It is available for $519 after a whopping $80 discount.

This deal is on the entry-level iPad Air with 64GB storage. You can score a similar $80 off on the 256GB variant of the tablet.

M1 iPad Air is as powerful as the 2021 iPad Pro

The 2022 iPad Air retains the same design as the 2020 model. But that’s not a bad thing, as it houses a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display in a slim body. Its design is similar to the iPad Pro lineup, with Apple cutting down on some pro features to keep its price in check.

The M1 chip powering the iPad Air 5 makes it an absolute powerhouse. You can use the tablet for heavy photo and video editing without any performance hiccups. Once iPadOS 16 lands, you can also use Stage Manager on the iPad Air and run up to four apps simultaneously. This is the same chip that powers Apple’s 2020 MacBook Air, 13-inch MacBook Pro, and the 2021 iPad Pro lineup.

At the front, you get a 12MP Ultra Wide camera with Center Stage support. The feature will center the frame on you while on video calls.

Unlike the iPad Pro, the 2022 iPad Air misses out on a ProMotion display. It also ditches the Face ID setup for a Touch ID sensor integrated into the top button.

Save up to 13% on the M1 iPad Air

M1 iPad Air carries an MSRP of $599 with 64GB of storage. Amazon, however, has discounted this variant down to $519 — its lowest ever price since launch. That’s a sweet $80 off the retail price. You can use the money saved towards the 2nd gen. Apple Pencil or any other accessory for the device.

If you want more storage, Amazon is offering the 256GB model with a similar $80 discount. This brings its price down to $669 from $749.

Given that M1 iPad Air launched in March 2022, it is unlikely to be refreshed anytime soon. So, if you have been eyeing the tablet for a while, make sure to take advantage of this deal.
