You can get Apple’s latest iPad for just $269 on Amazon after a $60 discount. This Prime Early Access deal marks the lowest price yet for the entry-level iPad released in 2021.

That whopping $60 discount makes Apple’s cheapest iPad even more affordable.

10.2-inch iPad is ideal for students

The ninth-gen 10.2-inch iPad is perfect for casual use. Its A13 Bionic chip remains pretty powerful, and consuming content on the 10.2-inch Retina display is a pleasure. Stereo speakers further improve the experience.

This is the only iPad in Apple’s lineup to feature a physical Home button and a Touch ID scanner. And, unlike the iPad Air and iPad Pro, it comes with a Lightning connector for charging and data transfers.

You get a 12MP Ultrawide camera with Center Stage support in the front for video calling. This very useful feature automatically places you in the center while on video calls.

The entry-level iPad’s next big refresh is around the corner. It is expected to get a design overhaul to include a large screen, ditch the Lightning connector in favor of USB-C, and switch to a faster chip. Apple could announce the new tablet later this month. But if you want an iPad for basic use and don’t care much about the USB-C connector, the 2021 10.2-inch iPad will work just fine.

Apple’s entry-level iPad gets an 18% discount

The 10.2-inch iPad retails for $329. For the Prime Early Access sale, though, Amazon discounted the tablet by $60 to $269. The price is for the entry-level variant with Wi-Fi connectivity and 64GB storage. That’s not a lot of space for games and files, but if you use only a handful of apps and games, 64GB will work for you.

Given that Apple probably will upgrade the iPad soon, you are unlikely to get a better deal on the 2021 model. So, if you are on a tight budget, jump on this 10.2-inch iPad discount right away.
