The Television Academy said Tuesday Apple TV+ received 51 Primetime Emmy nominations, including 20 for the hit comedy Ted Lasso.

That matches the show’s record-breaking number of Emmy nominations in 2021. And the psychological thriller Severance received 14 nominations this year, second most among the streaming service’s titles.

Per the academy’s announcement, Ted Lasso tied its record score of 20 Emmy nominations, but Apple TV+ as a whole outdid itself. For the 73rd Emmys in 2021, Apple TV+ received 35 nominations. For the new 74th ceremony this year, it received 51.

Ted Lasso‘s nominations range across all acting categories and numerous production categories. They include Outstanding Comedy Series. The show will compete against Only Murders in the Building, What We Do in the Shadows, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Hacks and other comedies.

And just as impressive is Severance, with many of its 14 nominations honoring its cast. And it also got a nod for Outstanding Drama Series. It will compete against Better Call Saul, Euphoria, Squid Game, Succession, Stranger Things and Yellowjackets.

A previous standout drama for awards, The Morning Show, has lost some of its mojo. But it managed to get a nomination for Billy Crudup as best supporting actor in a drama series. In 2020 Crudup won that category.

For 2022, Crudup is against some tough competition from Severance: John Turturro and Christopher Walken.

Primetime Emmy nomination totals for 14 Apple TV+ productions:

  • Ted Lasso: 20
  • Severance: 14
  • Schmigadoon!: 4
  • The Morning Show: 3
  • The Problem with Jon Stewart: 2
